UK-Based Raja Mahmood Iqbal Donates Rs50,000 for School Solar Project

Native of Dublia now living in the UK supports initiative to provide reliable electricity and a better learning environment for local children

Kaladab: Raja Mahmood Iqbal of Dublia, currently residing in the United Kingdom, has donated Rs50,000 towards a solar power system for the local school, supporting an important initiative aimed at improving facilities for pupils and staff.

The school has expressed its sincere appreciation to Raja Mahmood Iqbal for his generous contribution and his continued connection with his home community.

The solar project is being developed to address problems caused by an unreliable electricity supply. Once completed, the system will provide a more dependable source of power, helping to create a comfortable and effective learning environment for children.

Head Teacher Osman Fareed said the contribution was more than simply financial assistance; it was an investment in the education and future of local children.

The donation also highlights the valuable contribution made by members of the diaspora who, despite living thousands of miles away, continue to maintain strong links with their ancestral villages and support projects that benefit their communities.

Such contributions can make a lasting difference, particularly when directed towards education and facilities that will serve generations of children.

The school thanked Raja Mahmood Iqbal for his generosity and expressed hope that his contribution would also encourage others to support the solar project.

Every contribution towards education is an investment in the future, and this support brings the school another step closer to providing its children with a brighter and better-equipped learning environment.
